Our standards
This editorial policy explains how content published on hosthomevip.com is researched, written, reviewed, and corrected. It applies to all articles, guides, updates, and opinion pieces on the site.
Source policy
We rely on primary sources whenever possible, including official documentation, direct statements from named organisations, reputable industry reports, and original data sets. When a secondary source is used, we identify it clearly and link to the original material when available.
We do not publish copied passages. If a quotation is necessary, it is short, marked as a quotation, and credited to the original source. Paraphrasing must preserve the meaning of the source without presenting another writer's structure or wording as our own.
Statistics, product claims, pricing, availability, and dated announcements must be checked against a reliable source before publication. If the evidence is weak, conflicting, or unavailable, we either omit the claim or state the uncertainty plainly.
AI assistance and limits
AI tools may be used to help organise notes, draft initial text, tighten language, and suggest headings. They are not treated as independent authors or fact-checkers.
Every factual claim must be verified against a source. AI output may not introduce invented data, fabricated quotations, imaginary case studies, false authorship, or unsupported conclusions. If a source cannot be located, the claim is removed.
AI assistance is never used to create misleading claims, manipulate search rankings, or present generated content as human expert opinion without review. Final responsibility for the published text rests with the human editor.
Human review before publication
Before publication, a site editor reviews each piece. The editor checks factual accuracy, source quality, clarity, tone, copyright compliance, disclosure of AI assistance where relevant, and whether the content is genuinely useful to readers.
Content is rejected or sent back for revision if it contains unverified claims, copied material, weak sourcing, promotional language without disclosure, excessive keyword stuffing, legal risk, offensive or discriminatory framing, or unclear corrections for previously published errors.
For guides, comparisons, or reviews, the reviewer confirms that the page explains the limits of the information, notes changes over time, and avoids presenting recommendations as guaranteed outcomes.
Corrections and reader feedback
Readers can report errors through the site contact page. A useful report includes the page title or URL, the specific sentence or claim, and a reliable source showing why the information is wrong.
We aim to acknowledge reports within three working days and complete a review within seven working days when the issue can be checked quickly. Urgent matters, such as factual errors that could affect a purchase, safety, or privacy, are reviewed first.
If an error is confirmed, we correct the page promptly, usually within 24 to 72 hours. When the mistake materially changes the meaning of the article, we add a visible correction note near the relevant section or at the top of the page. We also update the publication or revision date where appropriate.
If a claim cannot be verified after review, it is removed or rewritten so that the page no longer presents it as fact. Our goal is to maintain accurate, transparent, and accountable content over time.
